I don’t know how to leave people or jobs or anything. I reach a breaking point (circuit overload) and blow a fuse and leave. I am learning to set boundaries and negotiate before I blow a fuse. I get tired of taking care of other people and am just now learning to take care of myself first. I have become better at acknowledging other people’s needs and recognizing that their actions and comments have little to do with me.
People say, “wherever you go, there you are.” But moving to a new place gives the old you a new perspective.
